Second
Grading Period
Second Grading Period has come to an end. It’s just so fast that I didn’t even noticed it’s time for the Periodic exam again. After this, we will have our most awaited Sembreak and then, we will start a new quarter again. Well, in this quarter, there were so many things I have done and achieved.
As life goes round
and rounds like a cycle, we will continue encountering and experiencing
different kinds of problems. During the second grading period, there were lots
and lots of projects and requirements, which are very frustrating and
stressful. I know that it is just a part of learning but I still manage to
divide my time in doing those, and the good thing is I was able to finished and
submit my projects on the exact day and on the exact time of submission. Whenever
our teachers are giving us a test or a quiz, my classmates have so many
reactions. “Oh, My God,” here, “Oh, No!” there, “Test again?” everywhere. But
for me, instead of over reacting, I just sit down on my chair and go over to my
notes and memorize important words and terms so that I will be able to answer
the questions correctly. When it comes to having fun, I love and I enjoy
sharing jokes and happy moments with my classmates not only on the four corners
of our classroom but also outside. Despite of being busy with our studies, we
still have time for fun and enjoyment and that’s the good thing of being a high
school student. Especially when some of my classmates started cracking and
spilling some jokes, I could not help myself but to laugh out loud and all the
bad vibes will turn into good vibes. But when it comes to serious matters, we
are all speechless especially when our teachers are scolding us. They are
always comparing us with other lower sections. They said that when it comes to
intelligence, we are much better but when it comes to behavior and attitude, we
are much undisciplined unlike other sections. They also told us that we should
be the role models of discipline because other sections are highing on us. Yes.
I will remember those heartening words until the last chapter of my life.
Because of that, I have now the reason to study really very hard especially now
that we have our new adviser, Mr. Rodolfo Raquel who is very good in teaching
and in molding us. He is always there to remind us of what to do especially now
that we are already a grown-up.
All in all, Second
Grading Period is a very tiring and a busy time yet very enjoyable and full of
happiness. I am glad because during this period, I was able to experience many
unforgettable moments: either good or bad memories. And most especially, I have
learned many important lessons and I look forward on the next two grading
periods that I will be able to eliminate my idleness in studying. In short, I
will strive harder so that those awful things, which happened in this period,
will never happen again in my entire life.
