Reflection

“Challenges: My Inspiration for the Betterment of my Future”

In my life as a student of a very respective institution, the ISNHS, I have encountered many problems and difficulties which made me struggle and which harness me to shift into a better person. Some of those are just in complements, but I knew it was just the beginning and what the most important is, how I address those to my daily living as a student.
For almost 3 years that I’ve been under this institution, I have learned a lot of new ideas and gained a lot of knowledge not only within the four corners of the school but also outside. I have learned and conquered lots of good manners, which made up my life stronger and better. I have met lots of different people with different faces, which became a part of my life. Although, I am not that close to some of them, I still count them as my friends, hence, my brothers and sisters. Discovering things can be such a difficult work for me as a student, but it’ll be more efficient if I coagulate it with my learnings and knowledge. I’ve also learned that discovering things with an open heart and mind can be such a big help in improving the life of students, like me.
At first, “I was very much afraid to get out of the box.” I am not participating well in the activities inside our school, particularly in our classroom, where I have to deal and mingle with others. I am very ashamed to show my talents and skills with others. Whenever I have difficulties in my studies, I couldn’t help myself but to cry. Particularly in doing my home works and projects. Good thing, INTERNET was born. The internet is really helpful especially for students like me because it doesn’t just provide us information for our home works and projects in school but it also help us have a little enjoyment during our spare time through the social networking sites, online games and other services on it. As a senior student, I have faced many challenges, which are forcing me to give up. But I need to cope up; I wouldn’t let myself forever stock in this situation. As of now, I have developed my skills and talents and improved my life as a student. I have developed myself especially in speaking in front of many people and joining in the different activities of the school. “Challenges are not the reason for me to give up but an inspiration for me to move on and make my life better for my future.” I have to believe in myself and in my own beings as a human.
I may not be able to be as good as they ever thought. But still, I’ll stand on my own feet; be independent and be faithful on myself alone.

Insights about the Third State of the Nation Address (SONA)

P-NOY’s Third State of the Nation Address

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III’s third State of the Nation Address (SONA) took place last July 23, 2012. The commencement drew mixed reactions from Filipino people with some saying it covers all aspects of his governance.
On my side as a student, it was very comprehensive and practical deliberation of the SONA which tackled the achievements under his Presidency. The SONA struck and opposed the previous administrations’ biasness. He also made special mention for his cabinet members for a job well done. But among those twenty-two (22) main topics that he had tackled, no one of each admires to deliberate matters on negative sides. He rendered us only his uncontrolled programs and projects. He did not mention mistakes and the real situation about crimes especially on the urban places, which most kinds of crimes flows.
But, as far as I know, being the President doesn’t mean that he does all traits we are expecting him to have, because he is just a human-being like us; with imperfections and mistakes.
Over all, I admired him a lot for his resemblance to give us the betterment of life-living.
