P-NOY’s Third State of the Nation Address
President
Benigno Simeon Aquino III’s third State of the Nation Address (SONA) took place
last July 23, 2012. The commencement drew mixed reactions from Filipino people
with some saying it covers all aspects of his governance.
On
my side as a student, it was very comprehensive and practical deliberation of
the SONA which tackled the achievements under his Presidency. The SONA struck
and opposed the previous administrations’ biasness. He also made special
mention for his cabinet members for a job well done. But among those twenty-two
(22) main topics that he had tackled, no one of each admires to deliberate
matters on negative sides. He rendered us only his uncontrolled programs and
projects. He did not mention mistakes and the real situation about crimes
especially on the urban places, which most kinds of crimes flows.
But,
as far as I know, being the President doesn’t mean that he does all traits we
are expecting him to have, because he is just a human-being like us; with
imperfections and mistakes.
Over
all, I admired him a lot for his resemblance to give us the betterment of
life-living.
